We're trying to move Sadie in to sleep in the same room as Lizzie, so we set up the portable crib in Lizzie's room. She was so excited and wanted to sleep in it herself, so we let her and put Sadie in the normal crib. And the first few times Lizzie did a good job of staying in there, even though she could easily climb out. But tonight we heard a little click from the monitor after we put them to bed, and then we couldn't hear the fan anymore. We were just wondering if she had gotten out of bed to turn off the fan when we noticed that the bedroom light was on. We went in to discover that Lizzie had climbed out of bed, turned off the monitor, switched the light on, and gotten out her lacing cards to play with. I asked her if she had turned off the monitor, and she said yes. I asked her if she had done it on purpose, and she said yes. When I asked her why, she said, "Mommy, Daddy . . . 'Izzie play!" Heaven help us. She was pretty upset with us when we put away the toys and switched her and Sadie between the two cribs.
I included some more recent photos, since I know they're Grandma's favorite part.
Lizzie being silly pretending to be a baby in Sadie's bassinet.

Sadie being cute as a button.

Lizzie's much harder to get a good shot of, because she's so much faster, but this one shows the gorgeous eyes she got from her Daddy.
Of the two girls, Lizzie actually looks far more like I did at her age than Sadie does, whereas she seems to be more of an even mix between Jake and I, but people who didn't know me as a kid always say that Sadie looks just like me.
